Chat On Love is based on the da Ponte-Mozart opera Cosi Fan Tutte (Cosi), one of three da Ponte-Mozart collaborations. The other two da Ponte-Mozart collaborations were Le nozze di Figaro and Don Giovanni. While keeping with the classical atmosphere of the Da Ponte-Mozart opera, it has been remade into a witty, modern-day love story. Even though Cosi Fan Tutte was first performed in 1790, the theme of "partner swapping" still has relevance today.
